paid media across search + social

Programmatic and CTV by leapbuzz, an AI-native marketing and business consultancy based in Singapore. Built for marketing, product, business, and sales leaders who want senior specialists inside the account from the first conversation. Five anchor markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the United States, and Canada. Covers deal types (open auction, PMP, programmatic guaranteed), publisher access paths by market, DSP seat and identity selection, supply quality controls, cross-device measurement and integration with search, social and retail media.

▸ Capabilities

What we run inside programmatic and ctv.

Six surfaces, one management approach. Senior judgement decides where the next dollar goes; AI does the math.

Deal architecture

Open auction, private marketplace and programmatic guaranteed mapped per publisher and per DSP seat, with the fee layers disclosed as models before the first deal ID is cut.

  • Open / PMP / PG
  • Per-publisher paths
  • Fee layers disclosed

Publisher access

Streaming and device publishers (FAST services, broadcaster apps, device home screens) reached through the SSP routes they actually sell on, in each of the five markets.

  • FAST and broadcaster
  • Device inventory
  • Market-by-market routes

DSP and identity

DSP seat selection and household identity (deterministic frameworks, household graphs, retailer data) chosen for frequency control and measurement joins, tested on your own CRM match rate before contract.

  • Seat selection
  • Household identity
  • Match-rate pilot

Supply quality

Made-for-advertising and fraud filters, supply path optimisation and app-level transparency applied before launch, with log-level data retained for audit.

  • MFA and fraud filters
  • Supply path
  • Log-level data

Measurement

Reach and frequency across devices, incrementality and brand lift where volume supports it, and retail-media CTV reads reconciled with your other CTV buys.

  • Cross-device reach
  • Lift studies
  • Reconciled reads

Integrated with the rest

CTV planned against search, social and retail media on one budget model, with the overlap and frequency managed across all of them.

  • One budget model
  • Overlap control
  • Integrated media

▸ Workflow

Four steps. No theatre.

The same management approach that runs across every channel we touch. Read, wire, spark, measure.

  1. 01

    Read.

Audit the programme end to end. Account health, signal integrity, attribution coverage, creative inventory, regulated-sector compliance assessment for SG FI clients. Two to three weeks. Findings document yours regardless of next steps.

  2. 02

    Wire.

Tagging, identity, server-side measurement, brand-safety stack, compliance pipeline. Built before launch, not patched after.

  3. 03

    Spark.

Launch into the structures the audit prescribed. Weekly creative and performance review with the senior practitioner who built the brief, not an account manager.

  4. 04

    Measure.

Monthly review against the bet we named in step one. Marketing mix modelling and incrementality testing where volume supports it.

▸ FAQ

Programmatic and CTV, answered.

9 questions covering strategy, format mechanics, measurement, regulation, and working with leapbuzz.

▸ Buyer-intent

When does programmatic CTV deserve a budget line, and how do we report it to the board?

It deserves a budget line when you need reach and frequency control that search and social cannot give, and when you can measure it with reach curves and a lift study rather than last-click.

Report to the board on the payback period of the incremental outcome and on frequency-managed reach; decide the next marketing dollar between guaranteed delivery and open-auction scale with that evidence. Lock the deal architecture 90 days before launch day.

Should we buy CTV through an agency trading desk, our own DSP seat, or a consultancy?

A trading desk gives scale and pooled rates with less transparency; your own seat gives control and data ownership with a staffing cost; a consultancy sets up the seat, the deals and the measurement and can run it with your team.

Choose by what you need to own: the data and the deal relationships, or just the outcome.

How does retail-media CTV fit with a programmatic CTV plan?

Retail-media CTV uses a retailer's identity graph to target and read streaming ads against sales; it overlaps with your other CTV households, so frequency has to be managed across both.

We plan it inside the same budget model, with the retail read reconciled against the reach plan rather than reported separately.

▸ Strategy

What is the difference between open auction, PMP and programmatic guaranteed for CTV?

Open auction is any buyer bidding on available impressions; a private marketplace is an invitation-only auction with a deal ID; programmatic guaranteed is a fixed-price, fixed-volume commitment executed programmatically.

They trade price discovery for certainty: open auction gives reach, PMP gives curated supply with priority, guaranteed gives delivery and frequency control. The door you can open depends on your DSP seat and the publisher's routes, not on budget alone.

Which CTV publishers can we access programmatically, and through which path?

FAST services and broadcaster apps sell through specific supply-side platforms and DSP integrations that differ by market; device home-screen inventory has its own routes. The map changes several times a year.

We maintain the publisher-by-publisher map for Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the United States and Canada and brief the DSP with the path per publisher, so the deal is set up right the first time.

▸ Measurement

How is CTV measured beyond impressions?

Reach and frequency across devices and households; brand lift and incrementality studies where the volume supports them; and conversion reads through household identity where consent and the DSP allow.

Retail-media CTV adds a sales read in the retailer. The discipline is to reconcile all of them on one model rather than report each platform's own number.

What fees sit inside a programmatic CTV deal?

Up to five layers: the DSP platform fee, the SSP or exchange fee, data and identity fees, any deal or curation fee, and measurement. Guaranteed deals shift which layers apply.

Ask for each layer as a model (percentage of media, flat, CPM uplift, bundled) in writing and compare the models and the disclosure, never a single quoted number.

▸ Compliance

What brand-safety and supply-quality controls does CTV need?

App-level transparency, made-for-advertising and invalid-traffic filters, supply path optimisation to cut redundant hops, and log-level data retention for audit. Children's content and regulated-sector exclusions are set per market.

Controls are configured before launch and reviewed monthly, not patched after a report. Reference pages: Display & Video 360 help and OAIC privacy guidance.

▸ Engagement

What does a Leapbuzz programmatic CTV engagement look like?

A diagnostic of the current buys: deal types, publisher paths, fee layers, identity and measurement. Then a deal architecture and a four-week pilot that tests match rate, reach overlap and frequency before the full plan.

Managed buying follows if you want it, integrated with search, social and retail media on one budget model.
