SaaS Marketing by leapbuzz, an AI-native marketing and business consultancy based in Singapore. Built for marketing, product, business, and sales leaders who want senior specialists inside the account from the first conversation. Five anchor markets: Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the United States, and Canada. SaaS marketing engagements covering the regulated-sector compliance frame (PDPA, Spam Act, CASL and US state privacy law), the saas buyer-committee structure, and the channel mix that fits the vertical: LinkedIn for named-account reach, Google and Microsoft search for intent capture, Meta and TikTok for demand creation around a product-led motion, measured on pipeline and CAC payback.

▸ Capabilities

How we run marketing for SaaS companies.

Six surfaces tuned to the buying committee, the product-led motion and the ARR scorecard.

LinkedIn Ads (ABM-first)

Account lists from your CRM, Thought Leader Ads from named executives, Document Ads for the mid-funnel asset, Conversions API wired to pipeline stages so the platform optimises to qualified leads, not form fills.

  • Named-account lists
  • Thought Leader Ads
  • CAPI to pipeline stage

Google Search + AI Max

Category and competitor intent with brand-search exclusion discipline, AI Max for Search run with the controls you keep, and Performance Max only where the feed and the conversion volume justify it.

  • Intent capture
  • AI Max controls
  • Brand exclusion

Microsoft Advertising (B2B layer)

Import discipline from Google, LinkedIn profile targeting where the account exposes it, Copilot placements, UET plus offline conversion import so closed-won flows back.

  • Import discipline
  • LinkedIn profile layer
  • Offline conversions

Paid social for demand creation

Meta and TikTok for category education and retargeting around the product-led motion; budget floors and ceilings per platform; creative built for the skip.

  • Floors and ceilings
  • PLG retargeting
  • Creative for the skip

Measurement built for ARR

CAC payback by segment, pipeline attribution with a holdout, incrementality where volume supports it, and the board scorecard that reports payback and pipeline, not clicks.

  • CAC payback by segment
  • Holdout tests
  • Board scorecard

AI visibility for the shortlist

Entity data, answer-first product and comparison pages, and the free Bing and Google citation reports, so AI assistants name you when a buyer asks for options in your category.

▸ Workflow

Four steps. No theatre.

The same management approach that runs across every channel we touch. Read, wire, spark, measure.

  1. 01

    Read.

Audit the programme end to end. Account health, signal integrity, attribution coverage, creative inventory, regulated-sector compliance assessment for SG FI clients. Two to three weeks. Findings document yours regardless of next steps.

  2. 02

    Wire.

Tagging, identity, server-side measurement, brand-safety stack, compliance pipeline. Built before launch, not patched after.

  3. 03

    Spark.

Launch into the structures the audit prescribed. Weekly creative and performance review with the senior practitioner who built the brief, not an account manager.

  4. 04

    Measure.

Monthly review against the bet we named in step one. Marketing mix modelling and incrementality testing where volume supports it.

▸ FAQ

SaaS Marketing, answered.

8 questions covering strategy, format mechanics, measurement, regulation, and working with leapbuzz.

▸ Strategy

What is different about marketing a B2B SaaS company between $10M and $100M ARR?

Three things change at that stage. The buyer becomes a committee, so one channel cannot carry the pipeline; CAC payback becomes the metric the board reads, with segment targets commonly set under 12 months for SMB, under 18 for mid-market and under 24 for enterprise accounts; and the product-led motion has to hand off to sales without losing the signal.

The failures we see most are channel concentration, payback drift past the segment target, attribution that flatters the last click, and consent and data plumbing that was never built for a CRM-led funnel.

Should a SaaS company hire a SaaS marketing agency, a consultancy, or build in-house?

Build in-house when you already have a senior performance lead and the channels are stable. Hire an agency for execution capacity on a defined channel. Bring in a consultancy when the question is structural: which channels, which measurement, which team structure, and how the platform changes of the last year affect your account.

Leapbuzz works as the consultancy that also runs the account: a diagnostic first, then project work or a managed engagement, with the findings document yours regardless.

▸ Measurement

How should a SaaS company measure paid marketing against ARR?

Measure three layers. Platform attribution per channel for daily optimisation; a pipeline join from the CRM so each channel is read on qualified pipeline and closed-won; and a holdout or incrementality test on the largest channel at least twice a year.

Report CAC payback by segment and the share of pipeline that is incremental. Clicks and cost per lead stay in the working file, not in the board pack.

What CAC payback period is acceptable for mid-market SaaS?

The most cited investor framework sets targets by segment served: under 12 months for SMB-focused accounts, under 18 for mid-market and under 24 for enterprise, because enterprise accounts churn less and carry larger contracts.

Use the framework as a ceiling, then compare your own cohorts by channel. A channel that pays back inside the segment target can take more budget; one that does not gets a fix or a cut.

▸ Buyer-intent

Which paid channels work for B2B SaaS pipeline in 2026?

LinkedIn for named-account reach and thought leadership, Google and Microsoft search for category and competitor intent, and Meta or TikTok for demand creation and retargeting around a product-led motion.

The mix depends on deal size: higher contract values justify LinkedIn and ABM spend; self-serve products lean on search and paid social with product-qualified-lead retargeting.

How do SaaS buyers use AI assistants to shortlist vendors, and what does that change?

Buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity for options in a category before they search. Assistants cite pages that answer the question directly, name the vendors, and carry consistent entity data.

That changes the content plan: comparison and alternatives pages, answer-first product pages, and entity work so the assistant can disambiguate you. The free Bing Webmaster and Search Console AI reports show whether it is working.

▸ Compliance

What data and consent rules apply to SaaS marketing across Singapore, Australia, the US and Canada?

Consent law decides what you may email, message and track: Singapore's PDPA and Spam Control Act, Australia's Spam Act and Privacy Act, Canada's CASL and PIPEDA, and US state privacy laws. Platform policies on data use and customer-match lists sit on top.

Build the consent record and the server-side tagging once, then every channel inherits it. This is general information, not legal advice. Reference pages: PDPC guidelines and Google Ads policies on data use.

▸ Engagement

What does a Leapbuzz SaaS marketing engagement look like?

A two to three week diagnostic on the live account and CRM: channel mix, payback by segment, measurement gaps, consent plumbing, and the AI-visibility position. The findings document is yours.

From there, project work (a measurement build, an ABM programme, a migration) or a managed engagement with a senior practitioner on the account, reviewed monthly against the bet named in the diagnostic.
