Google Indexing
The process of adding your website pages to google database is called indexing.
How to check how many pages have been indexed
Google this search string site:yourdomaincom

It gives you the number of indexed pages of your website.
You can directly go to the search console and open the coverage report and check for valid URLs.

Right after checking your indexed pages, If you found some important pages are not been indexed, Then you have to copy those URLs on the “URL Inspection tool” one by one.

If anyone those URLs is having issues, it will show over here and we just need to fix those errors and request indexing the same.

Common Issues of Indexing
- You might have given no-index tag on robots.txt
- You might have placed a no-index tag on the header.
- You might have given canonical tag
- You might have redirected the URL
Note: If you block a particular webpage on robots.txt, there is still a chance for that page to get indexed through internal linkings, So if you want to stop a page from being indexed, it’s always better to place a no-index tag on the header part.
